Outside General Counsel

Savage’s Outside General Counsel practice advises companies on issues typically addressed by a company’s in-house general counsel. In this context, Savage acts as Outside General Counsel to small and mid-sized companies who either (a) do not yet have sufficient work to support a full-time general counsel, (b) seek to augment their company’s General Counsel department without making additional full-time hires or (c) are not ready to commit to hiring a full-time General Counsel.

Savage includes lawyers with many years of General Counsel representation and who have a broad knowledge of business, franchising, corporate governance, governmental regulation, accounting rules, corporate structure, corporate finance, legal obligations, litigation risk management/litigation, and management of multiple outside counsel.
